Linda Smyth is a Philadelphia based artist and entrepreneur. It all started with self adornment and the love of body art and over the years has evolved into a more wearable and playful aesthetic. Linda has been designing jewelry for 10 years and started the Rabidfox line 5 years ago with partner Rebecca Pulver. Rabidfox was spawned from the love of the animal kingdom and is a unique celebration of nature and all small things endeared. Rabidfox takes small mass produced items from childhood and tranforms them into unique metal jewelry pieces. The results are whimsical statement pieces that create a feeling of nostalgia and a connection to our individual spirit creatures. Linda is also co-owner of the fabulous vintage and handmade accessories boutique, Topstitch in Philadelphia’s Olde City district. When she’s not making her equally amazing Fleathers (a winning combination of feather and leather handmade earrings) Linda can be found scavenging for vintage treaures and for up and coming designers to fill the shop.

“I met Linda at an event we had in Philadelphia; she was wearing an adorable rabbit ring.  She told me what inspires her and how she handcrafts the rings herself.  I love meeting real “craftswomen”, especially ones who share my love of animals.  Our customers are big animal lovers so I think the rings are going to be a big hit in our store.” – Jodi Arnold
